Pumpkin Cake Roll

Let me just tell you this is one of the BEST cakes I've ever eaten.  And my family likes to cook so I've eaten some pretty good cakes!! I did have step by step pics but we went to the fair today and unfortunately I forgot to clear out the memory card so my yummy cake pics had to be deleted!  Mine didn't look quite this perfect, but it was still oh so yummy!

The instructions are kind of daunting for a person who doesn't bake a lot, but it's much easier than it sounds!  I typed up the recipe from Taste of Home.  Here is the recipe card!  Enjoy!

Pink Dot 4x6 Card Template and Verse Printables

Right now I am doing "Believing God" by Beth Moore.  It's an amazing bible study and I am learning so much through it!

In the study there is a 5 part pledge that you learn:

1. God is who He says He is
2. God can do what He says He can do
3. I am who God says I am
4. I can do all things in Christ
5. God's word is alive and active in me

and the last part is I'm Believing God!

I wanted to make some flashcards with some of the verses, and decided to include the part of the pledge it went along with.  And of course they needed to be cute!  I've also included the blank template in this post because it would be cute for recipes too!

Here are some of the verses if you'd like to print those!

Free Applique Patterns

I love applique shirts/onesies!  They are so fun to make for gifts and holidays.  There is a great website that has free applique patterns.  Check it out at freeapplique.com.  I'm getting in the Christmas spirit and they have some awesome Christmas patterns!

I figure I have a short window of time to dress the little man in applique shirts, so I am trying to get it all in while I can!

Love the little Christmas Tree! (excuse the tacky blue background - I should have taken the pics someplace other than the ironing board! ha!)

And nothing says boy like an airplane! Check it out at Whos So Cute Designs on Etsy!

Here are some of my others favs I found online.  I saved these over a year ago, so I don't have the sites to reference. If it's one of yours let me know and I will absolutely add the link!  Sorry for not having those, but they are just too cute not to post!

I think these elephants are just darling...

LOVE this one for Christmas.

Check out this super cute turkey from KinderCuts on Etsy!  So cute and you can buy it already pre-cut!  Definitely worth the money if you're short on time/fabric choices!

Courageous...

The hubby and I had a date yesterday afternoon while the little man hung out with the grandparents. Our church rented out the theatre for the movie Courageous. I don't think I have ever laughed harder and cried more in a movie than this one! (The hubby's eyes sweated a little too... that's the manly way of saying he got a little teary eyed) It is an amazing movie with such a great message. We rarely go to movies but this is one I would definitely see again!
